The neo-renaissance castle, built in 1930, exudes charm and grandeur, making it the perfect setting for a memorable stay. Our room, though lacking air-conditioning, offered a cozy retreat with modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV for entertainment.The hotel's restaurant and bar catered to our culinary desires with delectable Hungarian cuisine, satisfying our taste buds after a day of exploring the surrounding mountains and waterfalls. The free spa and wellness center provided a relaxing sanctuary, complete with an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing or cycling.The attentive staff at Hotel Palota ensured our comfort, offering a personalized touch to our stay. Despite the language barrier, their helpfulness shone through, making us feel welcome and taken care of.
